When a guest’s credit card requires additional verification (guests’ that use international banks), the verification now happens seamlessly within the Mini App. Instead of payment failures, guests can input a one-time code from their bank (varies bank to bank), ensuring secure and smooth transactions.
The 3D Secure Payment Verification flow:
- Guest initiates payment: During checkout in the Mini App, the guest provides their payment details.
- Bank verification: The bank checks the transaction and may require verification, like a one-time code sent to the guest (this depends on the guest’s bank/card issuer).
- Guest verifies payment: The guest enters the code or completes the verification process within the Mini App.
- Transaction approved: Once verified, the transaction is approved and processed automatically.
